Independent, objective Engineering Consulting is the major thrust of my business. I have based my entire career to all aspects of cooling towers. In this capacity, I am able to provide many types of professional services to you whether you are a cooling tower Owner or an Engineer:
 

  • Performance of a Total Tower Inspection. A CD-rom with a typical inspection report will be provided, at your request. 

 

  • Utilization of the Cooling Technology Institute “Tool Box” software cooling tower software for all thermal performance evaluations to generate thermal performance curves, review performance test results, and evaluate how changes in the configuration of the cooling tower will affect the cold water temperature. 

 

  • Recommendations for thermal upgrading, including depression of the cold water temperature.  

 

  •  Act as your "Authorized Representative"

 

  •  Extensive background in Hands On Field Engineering

 

  • Technical Specification writing, review and design recommendations

    •  

  • Spare and replacement parts quotation, at your request. 

    •  

  • Material recommendations and selection

    •  

  • Confidential Bid Proposal technical and commercial review and recommendations.

      •  

  • Vendor evaluation and selection for the work scope

      •  

  • Inspection and detailed reporting on all aspects of any and all cooling tower work performed by others, including the OEM cooling tower contractor, your forces, plant maintenance workers, or other subcontractors.

  • Evaluation of maintenance, inspection, and thermal performance reports performed by others. The items addressed will be, but not limited to, completeness, thoroughness, and accuracy of these reports.

    My Background:

    I have 36 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the cooling tower field and have served in all cooling tower disciplines (Field Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Office Engineering, QA/QC, Warranty Service, and sales) working for two of America's largest public utilities and three of the major cooling tower manufacturers.
